Writing about a past event!! Let´s try to include "past perfect"; connectors and passive (if possible)

Dear students,

Let´s do a writing about a past event of about 100 words. You will have to include some details about the event and use the grammar (connectors, past perfect and passive) that we have been practising.

  • Where the event was
  • What you did or saw
  • When the event was

Grammar

    1.Connectors: writing tip (page 104)

  • Firstly, to start --> Beginning
  • Then, another, after --> Middle
  • Lastly, finally --> Ending

    2. Past Perfect: grammar (page 99)

  • When we arrived at the park, the fireworks had already started.

    3. Passive: Grammar tip (page 105) (If possible)

  • This is the structure of the passive voice:
      • a.)Object + am/is/are + past participle + by + subject
          • b.) was/were +past participle + by + subject
    • ACTIVE: Sam bought the book.
    • PASSIVE: The book was bought by Sam
